Capable of accommodating a wide range of boot sizes. The flexible strap connecting the system reduces bulk and offers superior compactness while providing remarkable precision and comfort.

Blue Ice has cleverly used light aluminium at the rear and secondary rail and hardened Chromoly steel at the front where it really matters to cut the overall weight down without sacrificing performance. Making them one of the lightest crampons on the market.

A simple micro adjustment dial on the heel pivot allows you to fine-tune the crampon on the boot. Because of the interchangeable front-toe bails, the Harfang can be easily fitted to any boot or ski boot with a heel welt and includes two front bail systems: a compact full auto and semi-auto which are easily interchangeable. Watch the video below to learn how to swap these out.

Supplied with a tidy compact storage bag which can neatly be carried on your harness for quick access when crossing mixed terrain. Or safely stored in your rucksacks.

Uses: mountaineering, ski touring, winter fell walking.

Video: Introduction to the Blue Ice Harfang Crampons.

Video: How to swap toe bail and toe basket.

Relevant Article
Mountain Boots & Crampon Compatibility

Features

Heel Lever with micro adjustment

Fixed pivoting point cable attachment

Chromoly steel wire front bail with two mounting positions

TPU Active ABS to prevent snow bailing

Sold with toe basket and storing bag

Specification

Antiball Plates: Yes

Binding: Semi step-in / Full step-in

Boot Size: 35-47EU

Front Points: Dual

Number of Points: 10

Material: Chromoly steel, Aluminium. UHMWPE and HTPE 40mm main strap

Weight: 377g without ABS per pair and 419g with ABS per pair

Certifications: CE EN 893, UIAA 153
