The Salewa Pedroc 2 PTX is a light, waterproof hiking shoe that's built for speed so you can fly through the trails, fells and mountains in varied weather conditions.
Fast-moving, lightweight and ready for whatever the trail throws at you, the Salewa Pedroc 2 Powertex is built for active days in the mountains. Combining the agility of a trail running shoe with the support and protection needed for fast hiking, it’s a versatile option for everything from quick mountain missions and long days on the fells to trail runs and mountain bike rides. A waterproof, breathable Powertex® membrane keeps the weather at bay, while the cushioned midsole and grippy Pomoca™ outsole help you move comfortably and confidently across changing terrain.
At its core, the Pedroc 2 Powertex uses Salewa’s 3F System to connect the lacing, heel and sole, delivering a secure, supportive fit without sacrificing freedom of movement. Underfoot, the cushioned EVA midsole provides responsive rebound to keep you moving efficiently over longer distances, while the Pomoca Speed Hiker 2 outsole uses directional lugs to deliver reliable traction across rocky paths, muddy trails and mixed mountain terrain. Reinforced toe and heel areas add protection against knocks and abrasion, making it well suited to the demands of regular outdoor use.
The waterproof Powertex® membrane combines weather protection with breathability, helping keep your feet dry when conditions turn against you. A durable upper made from 100% recycled polyester, a recycled dual-density footbed and a PFAS-free water-repellent treatment round off a practical, performance-focused design. Finished with reflective details for added visibility in low light, the Pedroc 2 is a capable all-rounder for hikers, trail runners and riders looking for one shoe that can handle a broad range of outdoor adventures.
